Max I. Walker's Ultra Chic Boutique
After 15 years, Max I. Walker has made the difficult decision to discontinue the Ultra Chic Boutique Dress Sale. The Max I. Walker family is delighted that, through this event, thousands of women were able to purchase a beautiful dress for a special day, at an affordable price, and is also proud to have saved tens of thousands of formal and wedding dresses from ending up in the landfill. Since 2008, the Ultra Chic Boutique has also raised over $125,000 for the Lydia House and over $85,000 for the Nebraska Alzheimer's Association.
A sincere and heartfelt thank you to every dress donor, volunteer and shopper who made this event possible for 15 years, growing it from just over 100 dresses the first year, to more than 3,000 dresses in our biggest year. The Max I. Walker team and the Walker family could not have accomplished what we did without the help of each one of these participants.
Max I. Walker will still accept dress donations of all types, year round. Donations can be dropped off at any location. All dresses received will be donated directly to Open Door Mission or to the Salvation Army.
