Denim Stains

A new pair of dark denim jeans sometimes tend to rub and stain everything from your furniture to your clothes and even your shoes or purse. Here are some general guidelines when it comes to removing these types of stains and discoloration.

Treat the stain immediately.

Blot, don’t rub the stains with cold water. In order to make sure the stain does not get rubbed in deeper to the fabric, simply dab at it with a washcloth.

Use vinegar or ammonia to blot the stain every five minutes for up to an hour or use stain remover and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes.

Rinse or soak the stained area in water to stop any spreading of the stains before washing.
