Advice from Our Experts: National Beer Day

In case of a beer stain – on April 7, National Beer Day or any other day – you’ll need to wet clean the stain according to Fonda Cureton, a Max I. Walker supervisor and expert at stain removal. If you’re treating the stain at home, use a hand wash or delicate cycle with a mild detergent – and make sure it does not contain bleach. If you want to pretreat the stain before washing use a stain remover (again, without bleach) such as Shout.

If you aren’t sure about handling the stain on your own, stop by any Max I. Walker store to ask for more advice on treating the stain yourself. Max I. Walker can do a wet clean if the customer signs a release form in case of color bleeding or other unexpected results of getting the fabric wet. Cheers to National Beer Day from your friendly neighborhood dry cleaner and stain removers at Max I. Walker.
