It doesn’t matter if you’re a kid or an adult, popsicles are a yummy but messy treat in the summer time. Here are a couple of easy steps to remove any drips that land on your clothes.

First, rinse the item under cold water. If the garment is dry clean only, take it to the cleaners from there. Make sure to point the stain out when you drop the item off.

If the clothing is machine washable, presoak it in cold water for a half hour or more with about a tablespoon amount of liquid laundry detergent.

You can then wash the item with detergent and an color safe, oxygen based bleach. Make sure the stain is completely removed before drying.
