Advice from Our Experts: Grass Stains

grass stains max i walker dry cleaning and laundering blog

With the weather getting warmer, we’re all spending more time outside. The grass is getting greener and unfortunately so are clothing stains. Grass stains can be taken care of at home for some garments. If the clothing item is not dry clean only, try soaking it in cold water and detergent for 10-15 minutes and agitate the stained area. Wash the garment and make sure the stain has been removed before drying it.

If the garment is dry clean only, take it to the cleaner as soon as possible. Make sure you point out the stain and one of Max I. Walker’s experts will take care of it for you.

For shoes, try scrubbing the grass stain with a toothbrush along with vinegar or a laundry detergent.

If you have further questions about removing grass stains or other spots, stop by any Max I. Walker location and consult with one of our experts.
